Led by knowledgeable volunteers of the Historic Kansas City Foundation, numerous walking tours provide an up-close look at the architecture and buildings that shaped the city’s history.
Choose from Art Deco downtown, 18th and Vine, the Garment District, or Quality Hill, among others, and enjoy informative lectures paired with prime photo opportunities.
Founded in 1974, HKCF is the only Greater Kansas City nonprofit corporation dedicated to the preservation of the city’s architectural heritage.
Additional programming, including slide shows, heritage hikes, and other special events, increase awareness of the city while showcasing the benefits of—and need for—historic preservation.
