Kansas City often has a love-hate relationship with the Royals, yet a favorite summer pastime is an afternoon or evening game at Kauffman Stadium, affectionately known as “The K.”

A $250 million renovation, completed in 2009, added a new scoreboard, suites, more concessions, two additional dining and lounge options, and more.
For an inexpensive night out, head to a Royals game on “buck night” and enjoy peanuts, hot dogs, and small sodas for $1 each.
