Parque La Leona

Set among the winding cobblestone streets and colonial houses of the picturesque Buenos Aires neighborhood just west and uphill from the square, Parque La Leona makes a pleasant spot to take a rest and admire the views over downtown and the valley. The park is a 15-minute walk from the square up a steep hill.
Keep an eye peeled to admire the many colonial and 19th-century mansions lining the road on the way up—and the other eye on the people around you, as these side streets aren’t the safest. There is a small café where you can have a Coke and enjoy the view.
