The Comayagua Golf Club (tel. 504/715-0116, www.comayaguagolfclub.com) has a nine-hole course, as well as apartments and cottages for rent. The course is open to the public; it’s US$10.50 to play and US$5.25 for club rental. The cottages are one-, two- and three-bedroom, with fully kitchens, air-conditioning, and TV, renting for US$81/night, including breakfast. (If you are staying in a cottage, there is no charge to play golf.)

To get to Comayagua Golf Club, take a right from the highway just after Hotel Santa María when heading north, then the second right off the boulevard.
