A number of commercial outfitters have concessionaire agreements with Grand Canyon National Park to lead trips on the Colorado River through the canyon. Many are based in Flagstaff or Utah but offer travel options from Las Vegas.

When comparing outfitters, consider the number of days, trip dates, types of rafts, trip origination and end, and if shuttle services to and from the canyon are included. Additional charges may include park entry fees.

Upper- or lower-canyon trips may require a hike in or out of the canyon; some trip packages include an overnight at [node:L49748 link Phantom Ranch]. Prices are for adults. Lower rates may be available for youth, and age restrictions vary.

Deposits are typically required at the time of reservations, and discounts may be offered for early payment. Trip cancellation insurance—strongly recommended—is available from a few outfitters; more likely, you will shop around for your own.
