Before stepping inside Cuba Cuba, you get a sense of the colorful and playful Caribbean vibe. The restaurant occupies two little Victorian houses joined together and painted blue with yellow trim. It’s mellow and even cozy inside, where the night gets off to a perfect start with a smooth mojito and a bowl of plantain chips while listening to some live music.
The entrées at Cuba Cuba are traditional Cuban favorites done to perfection, such as a Sandwich Cubano or Ropa Vieja. In the summer, the back patio is adorned with lanterns and it feels like an island vacation in the city.
