The flip side of modern accommodations is found at the Holiday Chalet, but that’s not a bad thing. This 1896 restored brownstone with 10 guest rooms has a homey style and feel, with lacey curtains, flowery bedspreads, and antiques throughout. When not busy whipping up a gourmet breakfast and running the Chalet, the owner is also a fashion designer whose clothing and jewelry can be found in the She She Boutique.
The Chalet is pet-friendly and the owner’s dog is there to greet guests.
