The range of lodging available at the Shambhala Mountain Center goes from tents to luxurious suites, with tents adding 350 spaces in summer.

From June through September, platform tents can be rented for $69 (double) to $79 (single) per night. The tents are scattered about the property, some close to the dining halls and gift shop, others higher up in the trees and a bit of a walk. Guests must use shared public restrooms while staying in the tents.

Red Feather Lodge is a group of four cabins with a shared bathhouse that is removed from the core of the community but still within walking distance of the dining and meeting facilities. Rates are $69–90, depending on the cabin—one called Earth is set up like a dormitory and the others have five double rooms each.

The rooms at Ridgen Lodge and Shambhala Lodge are more like traditional hotel rooms, with private baths (in some rooms, but not all), desks, public phones, and Internet access. Rates start at $99 and go up to $199.

Because the Shambhala Mountain Center is used for many large conferences, its dining facilities are set up to accommodate hundreds of people at one sitting. There are two indoor dining halls, an outdoor dining tent, and picnic tables outside. Three meals per day are included with lodging.

If you’re just visiting for the day, lunch is served 12:30–1:30 p.m. for $10 per person.
