Blossoms of Light
1005 York St., Denver
When the gardens are sleeping for the winter and most of the color is evergreen shrubs, brown dirt, or brilliant white fresh snowfall, the annual holiday Blossoms of Light is a welcome burst of color.
For about six weeks through December and part of January, the Denver Botanic Gardens puts up over one million lights (with energy-efficient bulbs), draped across evergreen trees or shaped into luminescent flowers. On select nights there are carolers or other special events.
The exact dates, times, and costs vary each year.
