The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Center of Colorado hosts the annual Pridefest each June. The two-day event includes a parade that starts in Capitol Hill’s Cheesman Park and is the highlight of the festival with outrageous floats and costumes.
At Civic Center Park there is a dance stage and booths with everything from food to crafts to health-awareness information. There is always a huge turnout for the festival, so plan accordingly when it comes to parking.
