Sakura Square

Just beyond the bars and nightclubs of LoDo is a relatively small high-rise building and shopping complex, Sakura Square. This quiet, serene city block stands out with its little bonsai garden and Japanese public art on display.

While one can go to the Asian food market or restaurants at the square year-round, the best time to come is during the Cherry Blossom Festival in June to celebrate Japanese-American culture and hear traditional music, watch dancers, tour the temple, and sample authentic Japanese food.
