While the Spring Bear Powwow at the Regis University Field House has a traditional grand entry performance, drumming, and dancing, it is a no-contest event. This one-day community gathering, with free admission to all, is typically held in mid-May.
Native American foods and crafts are sold and dancers and drummers are all invited to perform. The Regis campus is located just north of the Highlands neighborhood.
