Highlands Square Street Fair
Trip Ideas
32nd Ave. and Lowell St., Denver
www.highlands-square.com
What started as a small neighborhood fair in the 1980s has exploded into one of Denver’s bigger annual festivals, with several blocks around Highlands Square closed off for a full day in mid-June. The Highlands Square Street Fair features live music on three stages, over 100 vendors set up on the blacktop, and parking lots filled with kid games and activities.
The quality of the festival depends a lot on the weather—it can be scorching hot in mid-June, or cold and rainy, or just right. It’s best to arrive early before 32nd Avenue becomes too crowded to walk through. There is no admission fee to attend the fair.
