Before winter weather creeps in and while fall colors are on display, runners take to the streets for the Denver Marathon over one weekend in October. The marathon includes a half marathon, a marathon, and a marathon relay race, as well as a kid’s race.
This Boston Marathon qualifying race begins and ends at the Colorado State Capitol Building and is a sightseeing tour of many of Denver’s best sights, including Larimer Square, Coors Field, and City Park.
