Denver Arts Week
Still in its infancy, Denver Arts Week is a way for the entire city to celebrate its culture, super-sized for one week each year. The program started in 2007, and the early years are a chance to see what works best.
The week usually starts off on a Friday with free admission to all museums, which also have extended hours and shuttle service between each facility. Art galleries host the First Friday Art Walk and there are special artistic activities for kids at the Denver Zoo and Denver Botanic Gardens. The week also overlaps with the Denver International Film Festival.
