Immediately east of the Interior Ministry is the Ministerio de Comunicaciones (Ministry of Communications), bearing the word Venceremos (“We will overcome”) on its roof. It contains the Museo Postal Cubano (Av. Rancho Boyeros, esq. 19 de Mayo, tel. 07/882-8255; Mon.–Sat. 9 a.m.– 5 p.m.; entrance CUC1) on the ground floor.

The well-cataloged philatelic collection displays a complete range of Cuban postage stamps (including the first, dating from 1855), plus a large collection of stamps from almost 100 other countries. A well-stocked filatelica sells stamps.
