The name SoHo Bistro doesn’t conjure up images of Peking noodles, but it’s the best place for Chinese food in Uptown. The dining room at the family-owned restaurant is small and fills up fast, especially at lunch when hungry diners from nearby offices clamor for a table and crowd the entryway waiting to pickup their to-go orders.
Avoid the crowds by having your order delivered or go during dinner when the dining room is much less frenetic.
The food is fresh and the service is top-notch. The signature dish is the SoHo Platter, a combination of shrimp, chicken, beef, broccoli, snow peas, mushrooms, celery, and carrots in a tangy brown sauce.
