Known as DEI, this shop was started in a three-car garage in 1980. In 1999, Dale Earnhardt moved the headquarters to a new 240,000-square-foot facility that fans call “the Garage-Mahal” for its sheer size and decadence.
The showroom is a memorial to Earnhardt and is filled to the brim with his trophies, photos, and memorabilia. One of the items on display is the Coca-Cola race suit he wore in 1998, the first time he raced against his son Dale Earnhardt Jr.
All of his winning racecars are on display behind massive glass walls.
