The Bed and Bike Inn is located on the outskirts of Concord but it feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere. There are three separate options for accommodations ($110–159 d) on the 11-acre oasis: a hand-built log home with three bedrooms and separate living and dining areas, a three-bedroom contemporary home called The Grove House, and a quaint cabin with a sleeping loft and private whirlpool tub.
The grounds are amazing: There are walking trails, a labyrinth, and a fire pit where drumming circles gather on a regular basis. There is also a yurt on-site that’s used for special events but doubles as a massage studio (the hosts, Ellen Whiteside and Tim Beebe, are licensed massage therapists).
To add to the outdoor-vacation vibe, the inn also leads moonlight kayaking trips from June to October.
