The name says it all: It’s a weekend filled with blues music, craft beers, and barbeque, including the only Memphis in May–sanctioned barbeque cook-off in North Carolina.
Originally part of the now-defunct Charlotte Shout culinary festival, it became a standalone event in 2009. The three-day event includes cooking demonstrations, live entertainment, an annual 5K “Hog Jog,” and, of course, all of the fall-off-the-bone barbeque you can eat.
