The Sierra Lodge (3540 Main St., 800/356-5711, www.sierralodge.com, $125–135) boasts reasonably priced all-nonsmoking rooms located right on the ski shuttle line, and only a mile and a half from the Juniper Ridge chair lift. This small motel’s rates are rock-bottom in the off-season and on weekdays in wintertime.
Rooms have either a king or two double beds, a kitchenette with microwave and dishes, and plenty of space for your snow and ski gear. The decor shows simple motel styling in cool, relaxing blues. Breakfast, cable TV, and Wi-Fi access are included with your room.
