Owned and operated by the descendents of John Deere, Landmark seeks to continue the agricultural traditions of America while producing top 21st-century wines.

In the tasting room, you’ll find premium Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs—wines that grow best in the cooler region of Sonoma. Outside the tasting room, you can walk in some of the most spectacular gardens in a region noted for its landscaping.

If you’re visiting in the summer, take a horse-drawn wagon ride through the vineyards. Or bring a picnic and enjoy a game of bocce ball (a popular local pastime) on the grassy court surrounded by flowers and fountains and grapes. And if you find that Landmark is the place for you, arrange in advance to stay in either the guest suite or the cottage on the estate grounds.
