This winery straddles the line between boutique and big-deal Napa player. You’ll find Flora Springs (677 S. St. Helena Hwy., St. Helena, 707/967-8032, www.florasprings.com, call for hours) on a few menus in upscale restaurants and in their Highway 29 tasting room.
The open, airy tasting room sweeps in a half-circle around its bar, with plenty of windows letting in the glowing Napa sunlight. You’ll taste a variety of reds and whites, but the Cabernet Sauvignons are the Flora Springs standouts.
