The white tablecloths light up the dim interior, where the dining area surrounds a staircase leading down into the belly of the restaurant. Or if you prefer, get a table on the small patio out front so you can people-watch as the Gaslamp heats up with the evening crowd.

The menu includes all your favorite steakhouse standards—great cuts of beef, lobster and prawns, and an array of yummy sides. You’ll also find some interesting California-style entrées and appetizers. Portions are big, so consider splitting an entrée with your dinner partner so you can both enjoy an appetizer and some dessert.
