For a rockin’ good time, check out Street Scene (Coors Amphitheater, Chula Vista, www.street-scene.com, Sept.) if you’re in the San Diego area in September. This major rock-and-more festival draws name-brand pop and rock acts from around the world for a two-day show.
Once you’re inside the amphitheater, you’ll have your choice of several stages featuring up-and-comers, experimental music, and of course the big-leaguers. Check the website for this year’s lineup of musicians and a look into the stage setup and facilities for the concert.
You’ll find plenty of food and drink available at the indoor concessions, though it’s always a good idea to eat well before venturing into a major music festival. Also, be sure to bring your sunscreen; September weekends in San Diego are often blazing hot with fiery sunshine.
