Inside the Westin Bonaventure Hotel downtown L.A., enjoy some good pampering at the Bonaventure Club Spa & Fitness Center (404 S. Figueroa St., 888/629-0900, http://bonaventureclub.com, daily 11 a.m.–11 p.m., $20–225). With a focus on beauty as well as health and relaxation, the Bonaventure Club features a number of heavy-duty facials, as well as dermabrasion and collagen treatments. You’ll also find a full nail and waxing salon, and an array of massages and body scrubs.
The Bonaventure isn’t the poshest spa around, but you’ll get decent service. The locker rooms, sauna, and other facilities are clean, and the spa is open later than most to accommodate busy travelers.
Book in advance if you want a specific treatment at a specific time of day, but you’re likely to find a same-day appointment if you aren’t too picky about exactly which treatment you want.
