Club Tahoe (914 Northwood Blvd., Incline Village, 775/831-5750, www.clubtahoe.com, $165–275) at Incline Village is a great place to rent a condo on the Nevada side of the lake. Each condo here is a three-story, two-bedroom townhome with a loft with twin beds that serves as the bonus “third floor.” These condos are perfect for families, or for a group of couples traveling together on a budget.

Certainly the decor isn’t the most contemporary, and expect 1970s- or ’80s-era sofas, bargain-basement wooden furniture, and old-style paneling on the walls. But the kitchens come fully stocked with appliances and utensils and a full-sized fridge, the mattresses are newer than the rest of the furnishings, and a second bathroom off the “guest” bedroom makes sharing the condo much easier.

Exterior amenities include an outdoor pool and spa, tennis court, racquetball court, arcade, and full bar with pool table for adults looking to unwind in the evening.
