The Lobero Theater (33 E. Canon Perdido St., 805/966-4946, www.lobero.com) plays host to national and international jazz acts, folk and soft rock groups and singers, an annual percussion festival, and more. Everyone from the SFJazz Collective to Ani DiFranco has performed here.

The medium-sized theater has only one level, and it’s filled with cushy red velvet seats—perfect for a music-filled night out on the town or a romantic date with your sweetie. Check the website for the shows coming up during your visit. Also be sure to look into the annual film festival. You can buy tickets online, by phone, or at the box office during your stay.
