A favorite even among the many inns of Cambria, the Olallieberry Inn (2476 Main St., Cambria, 888/927-3222, www.olallieberry.com, $145) sits in a charming 19th-century Greek Revival home and adjacent cottage. Each of the nine rooms features its own quaint Victorian-inspired decor with comfortable beds and attractive appointments. A full daily breakfast (complete with olallieberry jam) rounds out the comfortable personal experience.
Her Castle Homestay Bed and Breakfast Inn (1978 Londonderry Ln., Cambria, 805/924-1719, www.HerCastle.cc, $127–170) is a bit different from your average B&B, with only two rooms available and lots of personal attention from the owners. When you make your reservations, you can ask about a half-day wine tour, dinner reservations, or even lunch and dinner provided by the inn. The Her Castle can be the perfect hideaway for two couples traveling together who desire the privacy of “their own house.”
