Historic Bluck’s (4 Front St., tel. 441/295-5367) is the island’s oldest vendor of fine china and crystal. Opened in 1844, the forest-green cottage-style building wedged between Front Street’s financial and insurance blocks is famous for both classic and contemporary designs by Kosta Boda, Baccarat, Herend, Royal Doulton, and Spode.
Department stores A. S. Cooper (57 Front St., tel. 441/295-3961) and Gibbons Company (21 Reid St., tel. 441/295-0022) are wedding registry favorites, thanks to major lines of china and crystal from Europe and around the world.
