METRO:Yu Garden (Line 10)
The shops that make up about half of the Yu Garden complex range from tacky toy stalls to gold and jade boutiques. It’s a tourist trap to be sure, but worth a look for typical Chinese souvenirs like decorated chopsticks, fans, and embroidered silk.
The bazaar and garden get absolutely rammed at holiday periods and are best avoided.
Outside of the main complex is a street of low-rise stalls selling similar goods. Also in the Fangbang Road vicinity is the Yu Cheng Fashion Garden and Dragon Gate Mall, both of which contain modern brands and stores like Marks & Spencer.
