Replicate the Shanghai urban look with a laptop bag or iPad sleeve from mrkt, the city’s favorite design-led lifestyle store. Putting the fun into functional, mrkt creates seasonal collections of the sort of thing you never knew you needed until you see it.
Most of the products are made from recycled felt and come in bright primary and pastel colors. From desk organizers and keyboard mats to coasters and hair accessories, mrkt covers every angle for the modern creative type.
Two architects from Harvard who wanted to produce something “extraordinary” out of recyclable materials launched the brand in 2007. Mrkt is deeply involved in Shanghai’s arts community and gives generously to local charities.
