Located in the Tianqiao artistic quarter with its theaters and parks, the Rainbow Hotel is a little more shiny, corporate, and contemporary than its name suggests. Nevertheless, it is a solid choice for a mid-range budget.
It benefits from its proximity to the Temple of Heaven, Dazhalan, and Qianmen Pedestrian Street, and is just a short subway trip away from other interesting parts of town.
Rainbow has 366 rooms, all with Internet, minibar, fridge, and en suite bathrooms. There are Chinese and Western restaurants on-site and business facilities like conference and meeting rooms. If you’re a business traveler, the hotel’s proximity to many company headquarters could be an advantage.
