There are nine million bicycles in Beijing, according to the 2005 song “Nine Million Bicycles” by Katie Melua. Get your hands on one of them at Bicycle Kingdom and see the best bits of the city and beyond from the saddle.
Operating since 2005, Bicycle Kingdom runs hutong tours around Beijing, as well as forays into the countryside for off-road cycling expeditions. The one-day city tour takes in the sights and sounds of the capital before heading out of town to the Fragrant Hills and Miyun Reservoir.
Since Beijing’s road systems are extremely bike-friendly, cycling is a fun and easy way to get around and see the sights. Bicycle Kingdom also organizes rides to the Great Wall.
