Along with bicycles, electric scooters are the most popular way of getting around the city for local Beijingers. This tour group helps you experience the city from the back of an e-bike, visiting the hutong, and powering down the capital’s wide avenues and boulevards.
You’ll see important sights like the Forbidden City, Tian’anmen Square, and Qianmen before eating in a courtyard restaurant.
Managed by Canadian expats, eBike Tours is environmentally friendly: The bikes are zero-emission. They are classified as bicycles and reach a top speed of 28 kilometers per hour (17 mph).
Riding a scooter is great during summer when the weather is hot since you don’t work up the same sweat you would on a pedal bike.
