One of Bangkok’s most popular upscale cooking schools is organized by the Blue Elephant restaurant and takes place at their lovely facility on Sathorn Road.
Morning classes begin with a trip to a nearby wet market (meat and produce market) to select ingredients and learn about local fruits and vegetables; after that, you’ll be in a classroom for technique demonstrations and theory before heading into the kitchen to prepare four different dishes.
Blue Elephant is a very popular cooking school, so make sure to schedule your class at least a few days in advance. They also offer a vegetarian cooking class, but only if they have enough students to fill it.
