The 13th Floor

HOURS: Wed.–Sat. 5 p.m.–2 a.m.
Atop the looming historic Belvedere building, which rises at one of the city’s highest points, is the storied 13th Floor bar, which has survived a number of themes, crazes, and economic roller coasters. The main reason it’s still around is the view; enormous picture windows provide amazing views of nighttime Baltimore from most directions; the skyscrapers and Inner Harbor lie to the south.
There are some decent small plates and pizzas to be had if you want to grab a bite and enjoy the view. Live bands appear many nights during the week; DJs spin and mix the rest of the time.
