No, it’s technically not a park, but the lovely grounds of the 207-acre Cylburn Arboretum make it one of Baltimore’s most beautiful urban retreats. There are more than two miles of paths running through the rolling hills and dense woods here (guided tours are available, or you can stroll on your own), and the majestic, Victorian-era Cylburn Mansion (1888) provides a strong anchor for the site’s superlative grounds.
There are gentle lawns and well-tended gardens around the mansion, while tall trees provide shade for the pathways that wind around the property.
