San Lucas Cove
Trip Ideas
Explore Further
The protected cove of San Lucas offers campers and travelers in small boats shelter from winter’s northerly winds (small boats only, due to the shallow entrance).
Camping
This is the closest camping you can find to Santa Rosalía, 15 kilometers to the north, and it’s a pleasant site. Access is via a sandy road that heads east from the highway.
San Lucas Cove RV Park (no tel.) and Camacho RV Park (no tel.) both offer campsites for US$7 per vehicle (no hookups). Facilities at the former include hot showers, a dump station, and a boat ramp.
