International Flights

The Cape Region boasts two international airports: Los Cabos International Airport (airport code: SJD) near San José del Cabo, and Márquez de León International Airport (LAP) near La Paz. Both field flights from the United States—the only country with direct international flights to the Cape—as well as from mainland Mexico. (For specific information on regularly scheduled flights, see the Getting There sections in Los Cabos and La Paz.) Both airports offer shuttles, taxis, and rental cars for transferring to your hotel, resort, or campground.

Air/Hotel Packages

Airlines serving Baja often offer package deals that include airfare, hotel, and airport transfers at money-saving prices. A typical package includes three nights’ hotel accommodations, airfare, and airport transfers for about the same as airfare alone. Contact the airlines directly to inquire about such packages, or check with a good travel agent. Newspaper travel sections often carry advertisements for air/hotel deals in Los Cabos.
