In a couple of days, you can easily explore the main sections of downtown San José and sample a few restaurants, plus have time for the beach. Add extra days for any special activities, such as scuba diving, fishing, or mountain biking.
The drive from San José del Cabo to Cabo San Lucas along the Corridor takes about 30–45 minutes. Surfers and beachcombers can happily spend a full week at a resort along the Corridor. But aside from the beaches (which are spectacular) and associated activities, there is little else to see—meaning, you don’t need a lot of time to cover the area if you’re just passing through.
For some travelers, a half day in link Cabo San Lucas will be more than enough time; others will be content to spend a week. It all depends on whether you prefer nightlife or a more remote setting for your vacation.
