The main attractions in Cooper Landing are Kenai River fishing and float trips. Several raft companies offer a 14-mile ride to Jim’s Landing, which includes some Class II rapids at Schooner Bend. Three-hour float trips cost around $50, and all-day Kenai trips run $145 or so from:

These and other companies have all-day guided fishing trips aboard drift boats ($205 pp includes lunch), or $110 for a half-day.
Kenai Lake Sea Kayak Adventures (907/595-3441, www.kenailake.com) guides sea kayaking on the lake ($73 for 3 hours). Alaskan Horsemen Trail Adventures (907/595-1806 or 800/595-1806, www.alaskahorsemen.com) leads trail rides into the scenic country around Resurrection Trail and Cooper Landing.
