ABOUT THE AUTHORS JAMES LASDUN & PIA DAVIS

James Lasdun is the author of several works of poetry and fiction, including The Horned Man, a New York Times Notable Book, and Seven Lies, which was longlisted for the UK Booker Prize. He grew up in London and has lived in France, Italy, and the United States.

Pia Davis is a wildlife rehabilitator specializing in songbirds. James and Pia previously collaborated on Walking and Eating in Tuscany and Umbria; Pia currently coordinates the companion website walkingandeating.com. They currently live in upstate New York with their two children, Violet and Leo.
