Still Time to Enjoy 38th Annual Northwest Folklife
The weather is cooperating to offer Washington visitors a delightfully clear Memorial Day weekend. If you’re in the Seattle area cooped up with no definite plans, a visit to Seattle Center might be the perfect way to turn the weekend around. The complex is hosting one of Seattle’s best-loved annual festivals this weekend: Northwest Folklife.
Swathed in a haze of patchouli scent and mellow vibes, this Memorial Day tradition celebrates the cultural fabric of the Northwest, with music and dance demonstrations, craft displays, book talks and loads of delicious food served on the grounds. Check out the details at www.nwfolklife.org.
