Reader Photo of the Day
The above photo was submitted to our Moon Flickr Group by Stephany Gerber of Linwood, New Jersey, and we think it’s great!
This eye-catching photo was taken in August 2006 while Gerber was on a last minute road trip with her husband and another couple. The four traveled to Bar Harbor, Maine and then through New Hampshire to Mount Washington to see New England in all its summertime glory.
We like it because it’s a true reflection of New England, and a perfect compliment to the New England content we recently posted to the site—which includes information on exploring the historic covered bridges in the area.
If you’re interested in submitting a photo for possible consideration in our Photo of the Day feature, join our Flickr Group. We’ll send you a free travel guide of your choice if we decide to use your picture.

What a beautiful picture. Makes me want to take a trip to New England right now. Of course, it probably doesn't look quite like this at the moment - being chilly November and all. ;-)
