Judging a book by its cover

I've just recently returned to the U.S. from my latest research trip for the forthcoming third edition of Moon Guatemala. As the book prepares to go into production, Moon's staff and marketing team are already busy selecting cover images for the Fall 2010 lineup. I'm happy to announce we have a winner and I couldn't be happier with the results (they picked an image I photographed). I was also successful in providing images for the next edition of Moon Cuba and my forthcoming Moon Mexico's Copper Canyon. All in all, it was a great day at the office.

Enjoy this sneak peak at the new Moon Guatemala. The image is from Villa Palopo, on the shores of Lake Atitlan. In this case, it's OK to judge a book by its cover.
